Power of Peace

It sounds so simple but never underestimate the power of downtime or wind-down-time for your little ones - it's almost dinner/evening time so calm things down, lower the voices, dim the lights, turn off the tv, light some candles (or turn on some toddler safe battery operated ones) and put on some calming music - even if it's just for 10 minutes (these things are always easier said than done with pre-bedtime, arriving home from work etc. chaos) before bedtime - sounds easy but it will go a long way towards helping your little ones (from a very early age) to recognise the fact that bed time is coming soon :)
